Tottenham Hotspur have that defender Jan Vertonghen and goalkeeper Michel Vorm are leaving the club.
Vertonghen joined Spurs from Ajax in 2012 and made a total of 314 appearances in all competitions in their shirt, scoring 14 goals as a defender. He was a very important player for the team in the earlier stages of Mauricio Pochettino s five-year spell in the dugout, but he recently started losing his place in the starting XI and obviously chose not to extend his contract. Manchester City, Inter Milan and AS Roma have been credited with interest in securing the services of the 33-year-old Belgium international on a free transfer.
So my time at the club comes to an end. A sad day for many reasons. I will miss the friends I’ve made here, the staff that make the club run, playing at the amazing new stadium of course you fans.

Meanwhile, Vorm joined the north London club in 2014 from Swansea and was already released last summer, only to be re-signed in October when captain Hugo Lloris broke his arm. During Lloris s absence, he acted as a deputy for Paulo Gazzaniga, who retook his place on the bench as soon as Lloris was back in action. The 36-year-old Dutchman stood between the posts for Spurs on 48 occasions in all competitions.
Many amazing memories with this team. Will miss everyone involved at the club. Thanks to everyone at 💙
